Room was clean and comfortable. Could have used a shelf under the sink and needed a light on the 2nd nightstand.
This place deserves a 5 star review simply based on the customer service and responsiveness. They kept great communication with us as a snow storm was approaching and worked with us on about reservation delays. Thank you Johnathan and Tanner!!
Rooms were ok. Beds comfortable enough, rooms were clean. AC in the room was working fine, but was a bit noisy. Parking is large enough. Price could be lower. We stayed here 2 nights and stayed next 4 night in Bally's Tahoe. But prices were almost the same.
PCT hikers! This is the best spot in town, Great hiker box and free coffees in reception, 2 double beds in a room, 2 sinks, high pressure shower/bath and AC. Staff are awesome and super chatty. Right next to the market and dollar general as well as plenty of great spots for dinner and breakfast, owner can also give you a ride back to trail if he's free!
My husband and I have stayed here on two different trips passing through Chester, and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. It’s clear that the owners of this hotel really care and want to provide a great experience to guests. The rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well appointed, including a fridge. Front desk staff is friendly and check in is seamless. Their little touches like cookies and chocolates on the bed are just above and beyond!
We stay here a lot during the warmer months. The owners are amazing and very accommodating. They also offer a contractor discount which is amazing. I will mention the only downfall is that they are very loud. It sounds like people are moving furniture all night long. It doesn't matter if you are upstairs or downstairs.

The staff are great. The rooms are clean. The room was spacious. The bathroom was big. And there was a double sink separte from the bathroom. Lots of storage space. Comfy beds. Close to restaurants. Close to Lassen Volcanic National State Park (30 mim drive). Lake Almanor is really nice too.
